Bone Broth Quinoa: Savory or Sweet
This has been a lifesaver for meal prep. Make the quinoa and then prepare either savory or sweet! This is a great base for left overs, makes a breakfast porridge, or an afternoon snack. The options are endless. Double or triple the recipe for more people.
Sweet
Chocolate protein powder, shredded coconut, almonds
Vanilla protein powder, nut butter, chocolate chips, hemp seeds
Nut butter, fruit compote, flax, and hemp seeds
Savory
Roasted Brussels, onions, garlic, and eggs with some chimichurri sauce
Shredded pork, leeks, green onions, daikon and coconut aminos
Salmon, roasted squash, zucchini, onions and yogurt dill sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup of quinoa
1 cup of bone broth, I like Kettle and Fire
Instructions
Place quinoa and broth in a covered pot over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Turn down to low and cook for 20 minutes.
