Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Fertility Nutrition

Functional Nutrition: it’s a thing

There are an endless set of nutrition philosophies, tribes, groups, plans, and thought processes when it comes to how humans should eat *food*. Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes…. I’m not here to pick sides or tell you how your body feels. Everyone is unique and has different needs throughout their lives.

My job is to provide you with the tools and information necessary for you to make the best decision for YOU at this moment in your life. Functional Nutrition is not a Mediterranean Diet for everyone - You get an olive oil! You get an olive oil! You get an olive oil! Nothing against olive oil, but you get the picture.

We are partners which means we will work together to reach your goals and get you back to feeling great because otherwise, what’s the point? I will let you know what the best science and my past clinical experience say; you will let me know what is actually possible within the framework of your life, values, and goals.

I think the most important thing to remember here is the idea of searching for a root cause and working from there. That PMS you had in high school wasn’t from a birth control deficiency you developed. There was an underlying reason you had PMS and the birth control masked the symptoms until - surprise - you wanted to get pregnant and BOOM! Nightmare periods return with vengeance. Functional Nutrition focuses on finding the reason you are feeling lousy and addressing it so your body can do what it does naturally: heal.

So to sum it up we are going to give your body the information (food), inputs (nutrients), and support (sleep, exercise - all the fun stuff) it needs to live its best life and do you - literally! There is only one of those on earth and we want to make it the BEST version possible.

Prenatal Nutrition: also a thing

It all begins with a dating app and some social lubrication… Or in my case a mint tea and walk in the park! Seriously, I know how to live on the EDGE! A story for another time but that is exactly what I needed at that moment in my life. I want to give you exactly what you need for THIS moment in your life which includes a baby!

No matter where your super baby origin story begins, we can always upgrade. Taking a prenatal and avoiding sushi and alcohol is a good starting point, but there is so much more we can do to tip the odds in your favor. No, I don’t mean genetically engineering super babies, well, not exactly. I do mean taking steps to encourage the type of gene expression we want for your super baby like a strong immune system and a decreased chance of obesity. Think less Lex Luther and more dad with a super bad-ass Swiss army knife and an extra week’s worth of rations!

A Note About Fertility:

Fertility is a vital sign like your blood pressure or pulse. It is a way to glean information about your overall health. Fertility is an important vital sign no matter what your status is - NOT getting pregnant, trying to be pregnant yesterday, fine either way but not trying, fine either way but not not trying. The point is your reproductive health is one of the first non-essential things your body can dump if you aren’t healthy (breathing and running from lions are essential in this scenario). If you aren’t getting enough calories, are super sleep deprived, or get a shot of cortisol every time your phone chimes your body isn't going to put baby making on the table - it’s smarter than that.

P.S. if you already got that baby in your belly, I’ve still got you covered!
