Let’s Get (less) Toxic ⚠️
Deciding to tackle toxic exposure can be really overwhelming. Don’t try to swap everything at once! Pick one item and decide when your current product runs out to replace it with something less toxic. Over the course of a year you will be able to make a lot of swaps to decrease your and your family’s toxic exposure.
Let’s Reframe Workout Guilt
There is a lot of pressure to be everything all at once. There’s not enough time in the day for that and a lot of the things that get sidelined are the things that would make the biggest difference in how we feel. Be the perfect parent, spouse, employee, child, neighbor, friend, or volunteer, and also make sure you take care of yourself because we wouldn’t want you to be a hot mess either. That’s a whole lot of expectations society puts especially on vulva owners.

Fertility at 40: A Personal Update
There is a lot of talk, chatter, and media around age and fertility, much of it negative. I’m not sure all of it is warranted but I also don’t think there is a lot of nuance involved in the discussion around trying to get pregnant later in life. I have never done anything on anyone else’s time line so it didn’t make any sense to start now.
Health and Wealth
The first question you probably have is why is Pfiff talking about wealth, she is focused on health. Two words my wise friend: financial freedom. As a vulva owner (thank you Dr. Emily for this language!!) your education and cultural narratives most likely did not include the importance of managing your finances and being in charge of your budget, investments, and financial portfolio. It is possible you were told not to talk about money (rude!), that you are not smart enough to manage investments or a portfolio (untrue!), or that your place was to manage the household budget and anything beyond that was not your concern (your money, your concern!).
October Round-Up MPN Digest
I can’t believe October has come and gone! In case you missed any of the week’s newsletters here is a round-up of the recipes, podcasts/books, and products that I shared. Stay tuned, November is going to be just as good!
Let’s Talk About $.E.X. Baby!
I’ll cut to the chase: solo sex, partnered sex, and orgasms are good for your health! Having those things later in life are associated with decreased risk of cardio vascular events. None of us need a study to know that people who are healthier and less stressed tend to live longer. I want you sweet friend to be healthy and live a long, fulfilling life. So for me and your health, consider adding some pleasure to your wellness routine.
Do Hard Things to Do Hard Things
When I was younger I was angry a lot of the time and very motivated to prove people wrong. It was useful fuel until I started working on myself and realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life full of “piss and vinegar”. As much as I enjoyed feeling less angry all the time and having more emotional calm in my life, I missed the motivation the anger provided.
